- Will the devices still work when Wi-Fi is off?
Yes, you can still control the devices manually as long as there is power. For example, you can still turn off the bulb with your regular switch or turn on the smart socket by pressing on the manual button.
- How long is the warranty?
All AFTO products included 1 year limited warranty.
- Am I able to connect using mobile phone hotspot?
Yes you can, as long there is internet service in the phone which acts as a hotspot.
- Can I control the devices remotely when I am outside my home ?
Yes, you can. As long as the devices in your home is connected to Internet and your mobile phone is also connected to internet.
- Is the installation easy?
Yes it is easy, just 3 simple steps. You can follow the instructions on the app as well.
- Can the devices be controlled from different mobile phones?
Yes, it can. You can register it under a different account and set another family user, so will not need to pair the devices again.
- Can the smart bulb can be installed in an existing parallel wiring?
Yes, it can. You can control the smart bulbs individually even though they are installed in parallel wiring. For example, if there are 3 smart bulbs that are installed in the parallel wiring, those 3 will be able to be controlled individually.
- What kind of lampholder is used for the smart bulb ?
It is compatible with a standard E27 fitting.
- For the smart plug, is it able to plug into a standard extension socket?
Yes, it can. The smart plug can be plugged into any standard socket (wall socket or extension socket) as long as there is power.
- Is there any timer function for the smart plug and extension socket?
Yes, it has timer and scheduling feature.
- Can you control each socket individually on the smart socket extension?
Yes, you can. Our smart extension socket has 4 individual controlled sockets.
- The camera, is it an outdoor or indoor camera?
Our smart camera is meant for indoor usage only.
- What kind of SD card is used in the smart camera?
It uses Micro SD card.
- What is the maximum size of SD Card I can put into the smart camera?
Our recommended size is 128GB Micro SD card.
- What will happen when the storage for camera recording is full?
It will overwrite the earliest date/time in the camera.
